Yes. Ankur Pratishthan is registered under the Trusts & Societies Act of the Mumbai Charity Commissioner.

Who founded Ankur Pratishthan and when?

Ankur Pratishthan was founded by a group of motivated college students who wanted to bring about a catalytic change in the lives of destitute children. Ankur Pratishthan was registered with the Mumbai Charity Commissioner on 23/11/2009.



What is the nature of Ankur Pratishthan's work?

Ankur Pratishthan is a not-for-profit NGO working for the holistic development of children living in Child Care Institutions. All our work is on an entirely voluntary basis.



Participation in our work can be of three main types:

Is Ankur Pratishthan a Child Care Institution (Orphanage)?

No. Ankur Pratishthan does not operate any CCI. Our work complements the noble work of the CCIs to ensure the overall growth of children living there.



Does Ankur Pratishthan accept donations? Are these donations exempt from Income Tax?

Yes. Ankur Pratishthan accepts donations and all donations to us are exempt under section 80G of Income Tax Act.
